mom scrub 2

Let’s build a spa!

You never know what the simple ingredients in your own house can create. This DIY is amazing because you don’t even have to leave your house to give the special woman in your life the paradise relaxation she deserves.

For this lemon sugar scrub DIY, all you will need is:

  1. 2 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  2. 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  3. 1 lemon or lemon natural oils

In a bowl, pore the sugar in first. Place the coconut oil . After the oil is fully melted, pour the coconut oil over the sugar. With either a zester or a kitchen safe knife, zest the skin of the lemon. Cut the lemon in half and juice the remains. Don’t forget to remove any seeds! You can know add the juice and the lemon zest to the mixture and stir stir stir.

*Insider tip* If you find that your scrub is too thin, you can add 1/2 cup of sugar until the mixture gets to your desired consistency.
